Information Technology Infrastructure (ITI) professionally manages many of the 'mission critical' computer systems on campus. These include centralized email servers, centralized file servers, campus inter- and intra-networks, including local and wide area networks, Internet and World-Wide-Web communications, application delivery systems, academic and research systems, instructional delivery systems including web-based mediums, and streaming media systems in support of the campus-wide academic mission.
blocked network ports
ITS blocks certain Internet ports to maintain a network security level that precludes outside interference but still allows adequate communication and data flow. Our goal is to prevent such things as outside Internet users printing to our printers, outside access to network information and servers, and to protect against a wide range of viruses. Here's a list of those blocked ports.
