The myMail Anti-Spam service filters and analyzes the e-mail and determines its probability of being spam. If an e-mail message appears to be spam, it is held in quarantine and not delivered to your e-mail inbox. Each day you receive spam, the myMail Anti-Spam will send out a quarantine e-mail summary listing the quarantine messages. The preferred method of accessing the quarantine messages is clicking the link at the bottom of the quarantine e-mail summary.

This Anti-Spam filter is an “intelligent” service and will learn what is and is not spam by the actions you take when interacting with the quarantine. The myMail Anti-Spam service filter relieves the Lotus Notes e-mail server of the burden of processing e-mail that is likely to be spam and therefore can more efficiently process “good” e-mail.
