ITS Customer Services constantly seeks enthusiastic individuals capable of providing quality technical computer-related services for both PC and Macintosh users on the UNO campus. Those hired will provide walk-in, telephone-based and desk-side customer support for a wide variety of end users. The position includes opportunity for hardware and software installation, configuration and troubleshooting, including network-related problems. Opportunities also exist to assist with web page development, procedures documentation, and knowledgebase solutions.

Persons interested in these positions must have used computers and a variety of software programs as personal tools. They must have a working knowledge of a Web browser, Lotus Notes Mail, and at least one computer operating system. They must be able to demonstrate an aptitude for technical problem solving and express keen interest in learning more about computers and software. They must be able to work at least 15 hours per week. This is a customer service position requiring strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly. Strong command of the English language is required. Oral and computer-based tests may be required.

Pay for this position starts at up to $8.00 per hour based on technical skills and experience. Increases are available based upon performance. Please see our job postings at http://careers.unomaha.edu.
