Data Center
The ITS Data Center offers printing services, system backups, and test scanning. The Data Center is also home to 'WhatsUp,' UNO's campus-wide monitoring system. You can view the status of UNO services by following this link. Please use your UNO NetID to access this system.
Current hours of operation for this office are: Mon-Fri 7am - 10:45pm; Sat/Sun 7am - 2pm.
Printing Services
The ITS Data Center maintains an IBM InfoPrint 2785 laser printer for departmental production reports and special forms. The Data Center houses the main server that is integral to the campus-wide print solution. Follow this link for further information on and frequently asked questions about that system.
The Data Center also houses the QMaster server, a system that provides printer definitions for departments that access and use the University's SAP system. If your department needs to define an SAP printer, call ITS Customer Service at 554-HELP (4357) for more information. Follow this link for current operating hours.
System Backups
The ITS Data Center performs daily backups on production servers that provide services to all of the UNO Community. These include:
• myMail
• myBlackboard
• myWebFolder
• Whitesands
• and many more...
The backups are performed from and stored in an off-site area in case of disaster. They are recycled every month (except for myMail backups, which ITS recylces every three days). If you have an account on any of the systems mentioned above and accidently delete a file, and you need it restored, call ITS Customer Service at 554-HELP (4357) to ask what may be done for you.
